Are you Ofsted registered? 

Yes. All of our settings are Ofsted registered and inspected. To view our latest Ofsted inspections please click on our individual nursery pages from our nurseries homepage.

 

What is the Early Years Foundation Stage? 

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of your child from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes. For more information, visit here

 

What will my child be given to eat and drink?

How much will it cost for my child to attend nursery?

Do you offer discount to parents placing more than one child at nursery?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount on fees for youngest child attending nursery.

 

How will I be notified  if I have been offered a place?

6-8 weeks before your requested start date, you will receive a letter confirming the availability of places

 

What time is lunch served in each room?

Lunch is served at 11.30am in the baby rooms, 11.45am in the family rooms and 12noon in Rainbow room

 

If my child is going to be absent, should I inform you and how?

Please do let us know whenever your child will be absent, you can do this by calling the nursery directly.

 

Can I change my child’s attendance and if so how many weeks’ notice is needed?

You can request to change your child’s attendance pattern and 4 weeks notice is required (2 weeks notice for Playsafe clubs).  Please note attendance changes are subject to availability of places.

 

How many weeks’ notice do I need to give to take my child out permanently?

You must give 4 weeks notice in writing, either by letter or email.  Please ensure you include your child’s name and setting on this notice.

 

Can I use childcare during school holidays only?

We operate holiday clubs for children aged Reception Year to Year 6, so once your child is old enough to attend these you are welcome to book in holidays only.

 

When will my child receive 3 year old free funding and how I can claim it?

The Free Entitlement Funding is available to all children the term after their 3rd birthday.  When it is time for your child to be eligible you will be given an information leaflet and a form via your child’s nursery.  This fully explains how the funding works.

 

What is the staff ratio?

We operate the following staff ratios:

Child aged 0-2 years       – 1 adult to 3 children

Child aged 2 years           – 1 adult to 4 children

Child aged 3-5 years       – 1 adult to 8 children
