Nursery Admissions Policy

Each nursery within Jancett Childcare is registered with Ofsted for a differing number of children, which is subject to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.

Registration Process

Admission begins with registering your child with Jancett Admin and payment of the registration fee.

Parents who wish their child to attend a nursery within Jancett Childcare should register their interest for a nursery place with Jancett Admin by completing a registration form.

Where the nursery is oversubscribed applications will be considered against the organisations criteria which are applied in the order below:

1. Siblings still in attendance in the nursery

2. Full time places in date received order will be prioritised over part time places where a full time place is available

3. Date the registration with registration fee is received

We operate an inclusion and equality policy and aim to ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services. The Operations Manager and Director of Childcare are to be informed by Admin at the registration stage if a child has specific physical or health needs/CAF forms. This is so that we can determine the best course of action, environment and induction for meeting the child’s individual needs.
